IMS Gear is a leading company in gear and transmission technology with 7 production companies in 4 countries. In 2015 the Group achieved sales figure of EUR 700 million with about 3 200 employees. The company is growing at an annual rate of +25% since 2009. 

•	Oversee the booking function including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. Supervise accounting staff of three. 

•	Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating and reviewing transactions. Approver of outgoing payments via Wire, ACH and Check.
 
•	Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the finance department overall policy and procedure manual. 

•	Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting for all U.S facilities.

•	Conduct monthly “balance sheet” and “cash flow” analyzes for five companies. Chair monthly meetings with the president, plant mangers and business unit managers to analyze variations from plan.  

•	Support the SAP implementation in the Finance and Controlling department. Technical Liaison between the IT department and Finance and Controlling. Trained accountants and controller on SAP. 
 
•	Implemented the General Ledger Interface between ADP (payroll) and SAP for four companies. 

•	Bi Weekly verification and upload of the payroll for approximately 800 employees. 

•	Implemented Banking Interface between Wells Fargo, BW Bank and SAP for five companies.  

•	Obtained “Health Insurance Broker License” for the State of GA and became in house expert to purchase health insurance coverage for the group. Reduced the health insurance cost by approximately 30 % in the first year.  
 
•	Support External Auditors for claiming R&D tax credits.

•	Initiate, plan, coordinate, support report, and track cost reduction activities with all involved  parties. Run, all monthly purchasing reports and perform cost management analysis with data provided from SAP. 

•	Chair monthly meeting with all Business units to report out on cost management activities. 

•	Develop and manage the Business Plan process for the Material cost for all business units. 
  
•	Assist each business unit controller in the Budgeting and Forecasting process.

SAP Purchasing Analyst

German American Services is a Sales Service Provider for several Anti Piracy Service Providers, located in Germany, United Kingdom and U.S.A, offering copyright protection for content holders in the music, movie and software industry.


•	Acquisition of clients in the music, movie and software industry for copyright and trademark protection services. 

•	Maintaining business partnerships and responding to law firms/customer needs.

Senior Key Account Manager

ElringKlinger Engineered Plastics North America, Inc.

ElringKlinger USA is the largest production facility of ElringKlinger abroad Germany. ElringKlinger produces gaskets; heat shields as well as cam cover for the automotive industry.  


•	Support the SAP implementation throughout all departments and coordinate activities and support with the German IT Group.

•	Conduct Studies, which provide detailed information on processes, manpower, and planning. 

•	Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts.

•	Assist in the setting of inter-company pricing policies and procedures in close coordination with the German Business Units and Key Accounts. 

•	Setting up cost centers and determination of the “machine hour rates” for all machinery.

•	Establishing of Standard Costs for all intermediate goods as well as finished goods. 

•	Conducting Cost Analyses for each product/production run on a continuous basis.  

•	Prepare the monthly reporting package in accordance to IFRS. 

•	Manage and coordinate SAP master data maintenance.

•	Technical supervision of the accounting staff, purchasing group, logistics group as well as production staff. 

•	Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.

SAP Location Controller

ElringKlinger North America, Inc. in Livonia is the Sales office for the NAFTA region. Until 2009 heat shields were locally produced. Production was shifted to ElringKlinger USA in Buford.     


•	Support the SAP implementation throughout all departments and coordinate activities and support with the German IT Group. 

•	Conduct studies, which provide detailed information on processes, manpower, and planning.

•	Analyze past and present financial operations. 

•	Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts.

•	Establishing of Standard Costs for all intermediate goods as well as finished goods. 

•	Conducting Cost Analyses for each product/production run on a continuous basis. 

•	Manage and coordinate SAP master data maintenance.

•	Preparing quotes for the sales team.
  
•	Administer the materials planning system, monitoring material inventory, establishing and controlling inventory levels. 

•	Establishing of the optimal production lot sizes for each product.

•	Assist in production planning  to assure just in time delivery.  

•	Routine accounting tasks such as invoicing, account reconciliations, booking cash receipts, check run etc. 

•	Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.

Thomas is an internationally experienced Executive with a demonstrated successful history in the automotive, electronic, industrial engineering and management consulting industry across all functions.
 
Currently he is the Managing Director of Copyright Consulting Services, CCS responsible for advising major companies from the automotive, music, movie and software industry of how to effectively protect their trademarks and copyrights in the U.S and Europe.
 
Thomas graduated with academic distinction from the University of Applied Science Fresenius in Germany, holding a bachelors degree in Business Administration with a major in Media Economics and Controlling. 
 
Thomas loves both, working with numbers and working with people. Hence his background is diverse, ranging from brokering legal and consulting services in total amount of USD 100 million and leading the Accounting, Finance, Regional Billing and Controlling department(s) of U.S subsidiaries from MDAX and DAX companies. As a Financial Leader Thomas managed teams in the sizes of 4,8,16 and 28 employees with a total annual Budget ranging from USD 90 million to USD 980 million.   
 
Thomas career ambitions is to become either the  Director of Finance, Head of Controlling or CFO of an MDAX, DAX or Fortune 500 company in the U.S. However, a General Manager position for a german U.S subsidiary is alluring to him as well.
