As a Content Marketing Author at Kantar, I contributed to the Digital Content team. 

Essentially, I:
• Helped accrue insights drawn from consumer behaviour by carrying out keyword research;
• Research and wrote original copy;
• Optimised websites and content;
• Established and maintained good relationships with bloggers;
• Analysed the performance of content marketing campaigns, and much more.

I left after 4 months because it simply was not the right fit for me (nothing against the company or the people). I'm now looking for a role with more creative freedom and writing responsibilities.

The role consisted of:
- Promoting the benefits of placement and study abroad;
- Writing original copy across university outlets;
- Creating presentation slide decks to accentuate my keynote talks;
- Presenting to stage one and two students in-person and online.

I wrote tactical analysis articles across numerous websites for Ronnie Dog Media, primarily Total Football Analysis. 

I was also involved in consultancy work with some of our clients, where I produced scout reports for professional football clubs in England, Belgium, Scotland, and elsewhere.

I spent my year in the industry with IBM, where I was responsible for external relations, IBMer communications and executive communications in the UK and Ireland to achieve our business objectives. 

Some achievements included:
- Coordinated social media content for the UKI IBM Twitter page.
- Founded LinkMe 'Mini' (an internal newsletter) for the IBM Slack channels.
- Mentored a handful of trainees in their short times at IBM.
- Authored press releases for our external UK Newsroom (linked below is one example).
- Pitched IBM stories to the biggest global news websites.

I achieved three 'Exceeds' out of  five dimensions in my 12-month-review; Business Results, Client Success, and Skills.
