Acadian Capital Research is a Lafayette, LA-based research firm that provides buy-side services for accredited investors, including Deal Sourcing, Opportunity Filtering, Due-Diligence, Angel Network Management, and Corporate Venture Services, including:

- Sourcing, filtering, and vetting investment opportunities on behalf of clients (accredited investors, HNWIs, Family Offices and Foundations, etc.).
- Managed operations for the Acadiana Angels Network (a former ACR client).
- Leading and executing light, moderate, and heavy due-diligence on multiple opportunities spanning many different industries/sectors.
- Oversaw Four Exit events (2x IPOs (Reverse Mergers), and 2 acquisitions).
- Assisting in building/maintaining a large network of subject-matter experts across various industries/sectors. 
- Actively managing investment portfolios on behalf of clients.
- Actively leading and participating in syndication efforts with investors/groups across the country. As of Dec. 2022, we’ve assisted our clients in deploying over $20,000,000 in capital. 
- Actively assisting portfolio companies in various capacities (as needed).
- Assisted in the raising and deployment of Acadian Capital Fund I (a Lafayette, LA-based micro-VC fund).
- Named to The Silicon Bayou 100 (2019).

The group consisted of investors with a variety of backgrounds and expertise, spanning multiple industries and specialties, and considers itself to be "sector agnostic". Notable exits include Gordon Technologies, Waitr (ASAP), Salarius Pharmaceuticals, and Gordon Technologies.

The PLATE App

PLATE was a Lafayette, LA-based mobile app startup that specialized in helping users find local bar and restaurant specials/deals. 

As Co-Founder/COO, the PLATE Team and I:
- Worked to conceptualize and develop MVP, alongside our other original Co-Founder- launched in August 2017.
- Worked to develop our business plan and craft our financial models.
- Participated in Accelerate Acadiana Business Accelerator (Cohort 1)
- Participated in Collision Conference 2019 (New Orleans) as an "ALPHA" Startup.
- Managed general operations of the company.
- Contributed heavily to all company initiatives - including overall strategy, product development., marketing, inbound/outbound sales, branding, etc. - basically, anything the needed to be done!
- Learned that good ideas don't always make good businesses - and that failure always provides an opportunity to learn!

PLATE was easily one of the best introductions to the world of startups that I could've asked for - and I'm extremely grateful to have been a part of a great team and to have had such a strong support system during our run!

While working with UST Logistical Services, I was able to gain valuable experience in the field of logistics by working side by side with many of the professionals who work tirelessly day in and day out to provide our clients (and their customers) with the highest quality service. Working in direct contact with our partner, Conn's Appliances, our dock was constantly ranked in the top 10% of the company in the areas of Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) and Deliveries Completed (DCOM). With this position I was fortunate to gain an in-depth understanding of the logistics industry, in addition to a tremendous respect for the men and women who I worked with behind the scenes to ensure the successful delivery and installation of our clients’ products.
