With over 20 years of experience in the textile industry, I am a textile consultant, content writer, and vice president of the Canadian section of the International Federation of Knitting Technologists. I help clients, readers, and peers achieve their goals and solve their challenges by applying my textile design, production, and innovation skills, as well as my writing, communication, leadership, and logical reasoning abilities. I am also pursuing a new career path as a continuing care assistant, which reflects my desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others and to learn new skills. I am currently enrolled in a PECCA program and have a certificate in medical device reprocessing technician. Additionally, I am working on a book project about the mill where I spent 14.5 years as a knitting machine technician, which showcases my passion for the textile industry and my personal and professional journey.
