Whether I’m a consultant, COO, CEO, investor advisor or mentor, my aim is to grow revenue and margins. ■ In my early years, I worked with the CEO and VP of Development of Computerland to create a franchise strategy that added $1.8B in sales in eighteen months. ■ My partner and I turned around a money-burning software startup, selling it and getting the investors a 4X return on their investment in just four months. ■ I’ve built technology companies from scratch, and stepped in to sort out sticky situations that might have been taken a company down. ■ I’ve been on all sides of mergers and acquisitions, from preparing companies for sale, acquiring companies and as an angel investor. ■ Over the years, I’ve mentored more than 200 startups about technology, corporate marketing, sales, operations, organizational development, risk mitigation, productivity and strategy… always keeping that aim of growing revenues and margins in view. ■ Because of my expertise on the business of healthcare, I was invited to conduct multiple congressional briefings on healthcare reform in Congress, meeting with more than 100 congressional representatives. I’ve been a guest on HuffPost Live to talk about health care issues, and am a frequent keynote speaker on the topic for many groups and events.
