From self-sabotage to senior promotion + $313K comp in 7 weeks.

This is the story of my client Luciana.

When we first started together, she was holding herself back, talking herself out of roles and hoping her work would speak for itself.  It didn't.

Because of this, she became the go-to workhorse but not the one promoted.

She also struggled to secure the senior level positions she deserved despite being extremely qualified, talented and capable. 

There were 5 key levers we focused on together:

1. Building her confidence

💫 Action step: We worked through each limiting belief holding her back and helped her uncover what was possible and within reach.

2. Securing more internal advocates

💫 Action step: We reinforced her relationships with key decision-makers internally to open up more options with specific networking scripts I drafted for her.

3. Perception audits

💫 Action step: We ensured that the way she was being perceived for senior level roles was in line with the opportunities she wanted most. 

4. Interviewing practice

💫 Action step: We role-played interview answers daily (sometimes multiple times a day) to nail down her communication and solidify her candidacy.

5. Negotiation scripting

💫 Action step: We wrote her negotiation scripts and rehearsed it together which led her to secure a $188K comp raise (from $125K to $313K) within just 7 weeks.
