rant on life & hard work: im grateful for how my life has turned out reflecting on the past 5 years

every opportunity i did not get, at the time i thought was a loss

and every time i took a leap of faith, i wasn't totally sure how it would turn out

but i wouldnt be where i am, literally fucking exactly right now, if things didn't go according to its sequence, it's beautiful when you zoom out and see the big picture

if i think back over the years, even before i dropped out of high school

the number one thing which helped me is i always had the "work harder" mindset, so every time ive wanted something, ive always pointed the finger and blame at myself

that's why i love naruto so much, especially naruto and rock lee, rock lee for example always blamed himself so strongly, where you point the finger is who you give the power to, if you point it at yourself, the power is in your hands to improve and change your life

that's also why i love not just working harder (actually try to just work even harder) but optimizing the fuck out of my routine e.g. evening alarms for going to bed

also every time i got tired, my mindset has always been "ok, lemme sleep a bit, then im back on the grind"

i never let myself into a state where i wouldnt achieve what i wanted, or that's what ive always tried

which is why i never burned out, because i dont understand what burnout is, im excited about my goals, im hungry to get after it

ofc ive had many days where i fuck off, ive had days where i just binge watch anime for an entire day

now this is my personal take and how i view things

it is also why i admire people who work hard, especially ones who are vocal about it, it's inspiring, i love to hear those stories, i love to hear how hard things were

it's hard to continue pursuing whatever u want when things get hard

bu that's the beauty of it, since even before i dropped out of high school, i would remind myself when things get tough, that's when most people quit

quitting is easy, and when you let this sink in, you realize that there's a beauty to continuing, seeing how far u can go, and really pushing yourself

there are two types of high school dropouts:

- "im gonna fuck up my life"
- "im gonna turn my life into the baddest story ever"

first is usually really fucked up

latter is usually someone who is ambitious and just loves to work hard
