I’m Tim, co-founder of Affixxius Films, a commercial film production company that helps brands and agencies produce TVCs and high-end online content. 

Our ethos is to work closely with brands and agencies to get to the core of the business, their customers and their needs, to create the right message and get the desired results. However, we not only create visually powerful videos, but guide clients through the distribution process to bring the results they're looking for. 

What I do within Affixxius is:

>> Oversee each media project from conception to completion and to be actively involved in the marketing and distribution processes.

>> I propose the budget for each project and am responsible for keeping the production within the allocated budget.

>> Using our in-house team of creatives and incredibly talented film production team, we create some of the most cutting edge films in the UK.

>> Naturally, creative input and the level of decision making varies, as this depends on the client needs and the brief.

>> Once the video is created, we’re only halfway there! The next stage is to make sure it’s properly distributed, encourage people to watch and share it on the right channels, maximise it’s impact, and measure the success.

Affixxius was started by two keen filmmakers in a back bedroom in Sileby when they were 15, years later it now employs 15 people from a renovated Sunday School in Loughborough and is a multi-award winning video production company producing some of the very best video content in the UK right now.

A Friday musing that I saw yesterday that really struck a cord with me:

Wake up and immediately look at small screen before clocking 8 hours behind medium screen. Take a few breaks to check in on small screen. Go home and spend a few hours staring at big screen to wind down before getting into bed and looking at small screen.

Living the dream.

Knowing I both do this and actively work to create content to feed that very cycle is tough seeing it written like this.
