Leads and works with a team to develop PI underwriting strategies, standards (underwriting expectations) and other underwriting activities and actions in response to underwriting results and competitor actions.  Analyzes and understands impacts and  interrelationships between PI products coverages, pricing and underwriting when making underwriting recommendations and changes to underwriting strategies and standards. 
Leads the implementation of PI underwriting strategies, standards, and initiatives.   Implementation  require countrywide, regional or state system and non-system support for underwriting guideline changes, catastrophe management initiatives and similar underwriting projects. 
Leads the National Undewriting Audit Program for Travelers Personal Lines.  Establishes action plans for improvements.   Conducts countrywide and state underwriting exception analysis and large loss analysis.  Recommends action plans based on findings. Monitors effectiveness of underwriting execution in Business and Call centers and develops training programs and materials to further develop and strengthen underwriting skills of underwriting job families and State Product team staff.  Evaluates and approves underwriting risks for new and renewal High Value risks submitted for approval by business center underwriters.   Leads underwriting competitor analysis and recommends changes to underwriting programs and activities.
Leads Travelers Personal Lines new and renewal rate pursuit programs with over 15 million dollars in recovered premium in 2013.
