- Responsible and accountable for engagement with the Coast Guard, Department of Defense, port facilities, and maritime industry stakeholders to develop and maximize the full value of the offshore Lease Areas off the U.S. East and West Coasts.
- Represent Blue Point Wind and Golden State Wind on Marine Affairs committees including but not limited to USCG Harbor Safety Committees, American Clean Power (ACP) Maritime committee, and State Energy Marine Technical Working Groups.
- Lead stakeholder engagement activities with maritime industry other than fisheries (e.g. Pilots, Tug and Tow industry, etc.). Develop a stakeholder map and engagement strategies and implement an engagement plan.
- Manage the development and approval of the Navigation Safety Risk Assessment.
- Perform outreach to ports as necessary to discuss potential infrastructure development(s) and identify supply chain partnerships.

Led 150-person crew conducting missions across the Pacific Ocean. Safely launched boats, helicopters, and unmanned aerial systems at all hours of the day and night in a dynamic, austere maritime environment.
•	Oversaw annual execution of more than $3,500,000 in contract maintenance and $5,000,000 in operating costs on one of the Coast Guard’s most technologically advanced and capable ships.
•	Directed teams of multinational inspectors enforcing international fisheries conservation and management measures during boarding operations hundreds of miles offshore. 
•	Communicated results of our enforcement efforts to partner nations’ senior leaders, press, and affected Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). 
•	Calmly and professionally interacted with Russian Border Guard and People’s Republic of China Naval vessels when they operated in and along U.S. waters of the North Pacific.

Commanding Officer, USCGC BERTHOLF (WMSL 750)

Responsible for policy and strategy development, program management and international engagement for the Coast Guard’s Law Enforcement missions.  Leads interagency coordination for complex international maritime law enforcement cases working with partners in DHS, DOS, DOD, DOC, Treasury and the White House National Security Council.  Areas of focus include Drug Interdiction, Maritime Migration, Human Trafficking, Counter Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC), and Domestic and International Fisheries Enforcement.

Director, USCG Office of Law Enforcement Policy

Fully accountable for the safe and effective operation of this 270' Coast Guard Cutter and its 100-person crew in operations from the waters off New England to the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific waters off Central and South America.  Conducted missions including search and rescue, homeland security, counter-drug enforcement, living marine resources enforcement, alien migrant interdiction, and humanitarian assistance.  Led coordinated and integrated CG cutter and helicopter operations and administered a $1M+ annual operating budget.

Commanding Officer, 270' Medium Endurance Cutter

Action officer for all long and short-term planning, programming and resource budgeting issues for $37M Operations & Maintenance Budget & 1,400 mbr Coast Guard Academy (CGA). Primary CGA rep for all billet/staffing matters with higher headquarters. Manages $575K Superintendent's Div budget. Executive Asst to Supt & Asst Supt; supervises coord of daily activities and actions of 6 collateral duty project officers responsible for protocol/logistical matters for over 100 annual major CGA events, major projects, and VIP visits. Member of Supt's Council on Institutional Effectiveness; evaluates & reports progress on CGA Strategic Plan. Executive Secretary for CGA Board of Trustees & Senior Leadership Team mtgs. Supervise Staff of six.

Planning Officer, U.S. Coast Guard Academy

Led diverse crew of 50+ technical experts operating a medium-tonnage vessel with a large capacity crane and boats to service floating navigational aids, conduct ice breaking, conduct rescues and law enforcement operations across the Great Lakes. Regularly worked jointly with US and Canadian CG Ships in the conduct of these operations. $1M annual operating budget.

Commanding Officer, 225' Seagoing Buoy Tender

Oversaw program management and operational execution of CG’s law enforcement missions from northern New Jersey to Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.  Managed ports, waterways and coastal security program for Washington, DC and Chesapeake Bay.

Fisheries Law Enforcement Officer and Deputy Chief of Enforcement

Responsible for day to day operations, safety, and personnel management for 50+ person crew conducting highly dynamic operations tending floating navigational aids offshore and on the breaking river bars of the Washington/Oregon coasts.

Executive Officer, 225' Sea Going Buoy Tender

Provided guidance and development of national level U.S. Coast Guard fisheries law enforcement policy. Ensured U.S. Coast Guard LE operations were conducted in accordance with strategic level direction.  Provided briefing materials and background documents to Coast Guard's most senior leaders in preparations for Congressional engagements.
