With over ten years of experience in academia, I lead the Department of Design Technology and Innovation. I have launched an interdisciplinary curriculum and initiated strategic leadership initiatives across the university. As a Senior Lecturer in Design, I contribute to teaching, course leadership, and fostering creativity across the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. My research and enterprise work focus on addressing global challenges with frontier technology and digital transformation. As the Founder of Design Factory Birmingham, I facilitated a creative ecosystem that enabled students to engage with real-world problems, supporting the principles of Industry 5.0 and sustainable development. I aim to advance design education to drive positive societal change and industrial impact.
