I'm officially 30+. 🎉 Today I turn 31. (Some say I look 45+) But let's not talk about it. Instead, here are 31 B2B sales lessons I have learned the last year: Haha yeah… no. Not that type of post. 😂 Here’s the real deal: ✅ I still don’t have it all figured out. ✅ I still drink my tea too late and forget it until it’s cold. ✅ I still struggle to switch off my brain sometimes. ✅ I still chase dreams that feel bigger than me. (but they are not!) ✅ I still show up. Every day. If there’s one thing I’ve truly learned by 31, it’s this: Nothing in life is "perfect." Just do the best you can, every day, be a decent person and adjust the strategy when you need to, to achieve the goal. So here’s to another year of doing life the messy, beautiful and risky way. Thank you to everyone around me, who make my days better and turn me into a better person. I’m truly grateful for you all. One night in my dad’s kitchen, his friend offered me heroin. For free. I was 15. I said no. So did my friend - after I told him what it was. (The guy used slang) Then he took it in front of us himself. ”You sure?” The price wasn’t the issue. It was free. But here’s the thing: Sometimes the free stuff costs you the most. Financially, physically, mentally. It would wreck my life. More than I already was at the time. Same with websites. Dramatic? Maybe. But the logic’s the same. Cheap now, expensive later. Go for the free or cheap option and you’ll pay the price - lost leads, missed clients, wasted traffic and a ton of regret when you finally realize it doesn’t work.
