● Identified and presented a critical funding shortfall required to transition 1,600 network circuits to a new service provider; obtained Senior Executive approval for the additional funding to complete the project, resulting in savings of $18 million annually.
● Reviewed and prioritized the organization’s budget requirements ensuring that the annual IT budget of $200 million supported the operations and maintenance of all mission critical infrastructure and systems.
● Led the analysis of the section’s key functions and personnel structure to identify areas that could be consolidated, resulting in a 10% reduction of military personnel.

● Evaluated requirements and led the implementation of new technologies and IT capabilities such as video teleconferencing, WiFi, and cellular hotspots that enabled collaboration and ensured continuous detention operations under COVID-19 restrictions.
● Analyzed the section’s key functions and personnel structure to identify areas where functions could be consolidated, resulting in a 25% reduction of personnel.
● Provided oversight for a $1.5 million server/data storage infrastructure modernization project that increased storage capacity from 200 to 1.500 TB and enabled off site back-ups of critical data and records
