Your job: Find the razor-sharp value prop that makes at least 10 people say, “I need this yesterday.” 

No scaling, no fancy funnels—just ruthless validation.

💡 Early Traction

You’ve got a few early adopters. 

Now what?

Your job: Prove it’s not luck. Can you deliver the same result, on demand, for a price people will pay? 

If not, you’re still guessing.

So, founders: Are you giving your growth team a product the market wants—or just asking them to sell harder?

And growth leaders: Are you just driving traffic, or are you the voice of the market inside your company?

Good Heads of Growth build systems. Bad ones chase campaigns (and automations).

LinkedIn is flooded with posts like :

=> "I generated 1,000 leads with this AI hack!"—as if automation and clever tactics alone equal growth.

But here’s the real question:
Do those leads turn into paying customers?
Do those campaigns drive repeatable revenue?
Or are we confusing making noise with building a business?

A bad Head of Growth focuses on:
❌ Tools and automations (because they look good on LinkedIn)
❌ "Hacks" that don’t scale (but get likes)
❌ Vanity metrics (MQLs, impressions, "engagement")

A good Head of Growth obsesses over:
✅ Are we solving a problem customers will actually pay to fix? (Not just a problem we invented to sell)
✅ Can we deliver this solution repeatably, without relying on gimmicks?
✅ Does our system create happy customers, or just leads that ghost after the demo?

A viral campaign is like fireworks. It’s impressive, then it fades. (It's AI written but it's true though)

A growth system is like a jet engine. It accelerates after takeoff. (Thanks Mistral AI for the metaphor) 

Growth isn’t about showing you can automate. It’s about proving you can sell (and resell).

How to scale from 0 to 100 meetings/month ? 

Phase 1: Nail your ICP (0→20 meetings) Without a clear ICP, it's impossible to focus outbound efforts. Poor segmentation results in wasted effort chasing low-fit leads. 

- Test 5 segments simultaneously
- Track reply rates for each
- Double down on the one with >10% reply rate
- Kill everything else

Result: 1 SDR now books 20 meetings instead of 10

Phase 2: Add automation (20→50 meetings) Automation tools help maintain the ideal cadence for follow-ups, ensuring no lead falls through the cracks. 

- Set up muti-touch sequences (email + LinkedIn + call).
- Studies show 60% of responses occur after the third outreach attempt 
- Use tools like Clay for enrichment, lemlist or Instantly.ai + HeyReach.io for sequences
- Automate follow-ups based on engagement signals

Result: Same SDR hits 30-35 meetings + hire SDR #2

Phase 3: Layer intent signals (50→100 meetings) With the right accounts, contacts, and messaging at the right time, sales should be equipped to be effective

- Connect rate jumps from 10% to 30% with warm signals 
- Prioritize accounts showing 3+ intent signals
- Response rates go from 5% to 15-30%

Result: 3 SDRs × 30+ meetings = 100 meetings/month
