Product manager and team facilitator that excels at building, managing, and advocating for teams Before entering the Cybersecurity SaaS world, I spent 5 years as a AVP Product in the Analytics Group at Deloitte & Touche LLP. I was on a quest to help the firm shift from being a consulting (advise and implement) firm into one that built recurring revenue products and subscription services for long term value creation for the client. I worked on Deloitte's AI platform (Cortex AI, think IBM Watson), helping build both cloud native and open source solutions for clients. I have also worked on several Deloitte innovation initiatives including a current MIT innovation collaboration that aims to scout and introduce first customers to MIT originated technologies. Prior to joining Deloitte I was an intellectual property broker and eventually the Chief Operating Officer of ICAP Ocean Tomo Patent Brokerage for 6 years. ICAP Ocean Tomo helped inventors, PE shops, small companies, and public research institutions sell patents typically in an open outcry auction. Since 2014, I have offered advisory and mentorship helping startups navigate early stage IP matters. I am excited about the future of work, emerging technologies, free markets, abundance, and never settling on product market fit. I spend nights and weekends listening to podcasts on building companies, reading crypto white-papers, and building Ethereum Dapps.
