As an entrepreneur and CEO, I have an extensive background in management, customer service, innovation, and starting and running companies. In 2005, Combining my entrepreneurial drive, my love for his dog ‘Lucy’, and my desire to make a difference in peoples’ lives, my wife, Jessica, and I started a mobile dog grooming business which then expanded with brick-and-mortar grooming salons. After several years of caring for all sorts of dogs, we discovered that most dogs out there are not getting the routine care they need to stay clean, comfortable, and healthy. 9 of the 10 most popular breeds don’t require haircuts … but EVERY dog needs essential care like bathing, ear cleaning, nail trimming and dental care. Thus, Scenthound was born. As the Chief Executive officer of Scenthound, I am responsible for leading and empowering the leadership team and am the driver of innovation and strategic thinking to push the brand forward. My superpower is asking the right questions, identifying barriers, and offering creative process-driven solutions. I actively lead a national group of Franchise CEOs in a Forum designed for leaders to share their learned knowledge and best practices with each other. I was a member of the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) for over 12 years, and ran the accelerator program there where I coached other entrepreneurs and helped them achieve their goals. I am also a member of the board at Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Titus Center for Franchising.
