With a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry Nutrition from Memorial University of Newfoundland, I am passionate about the healthcare industry and scientific research. I have gained valuable laboratory experience through various internships in different areas of the healthcare sector, such as a private hospital, a food safety laboratory, and a neuroscience laboratory. Currently, I am a public servant at the Government of Canada, where I apply my research and customer service skills to support various projects and initiatives. I have also worked as a pharmacy assistant at Shorewell Pharmacy Group and Lawtons Drugs, where I assisted the pharmacists with handling prescriptions, phone calls, packaging, and compounding. Through these roles, I have developed my problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills, as well as my ability to work with diverse teams and clients. My goal is to contribute to the improvement of the healthcare system and the well-being of the society.
