After working as a paramedic for several years, I decided to branch out and start my own business...a swapping/bartering app. Zwapifi launched in 2023. Within two months of it being live, it won the Innovators Emerging Media award with Summit International Awards! In that same timeframe, I was approached by John Porter, the founder of BarterPay® and asked to collaborate! His company is Canada's largest business to business bartering system. What he had accomplished was where I'd planned to be in 10-15 years. I decided to join forces and literally traded my company for a franchise of BarterPay® and am now a Barter Coach™ in the Calgary area! My role is to grow your business in the organized barter world while you continue to focus on the cash world! It hardly feels like a job, I'm having so much fun and honoring my late dad who taught me the joy of bartering!
