I took a career break and travelled around the world, covering Southeast Asia, Australia, United States and Central America. Travelling alone required resilience, budgeting skills, fearlessness, risk taking and the capability to adapt to new situations and cultures quickly. Determination and decision making while trusting my own insticts played a key role in making my trip successful.
