I always envisioned my strategic narrative work as the making of a mosaic. Like the master mosaicists, I believe pieces of the past and present serve to shape our views of the world. When you combine that insight, with a futurecast exercise and a deeper dive into the betweenness (better known as white space), you can design an authentic voice that serves to differentiate and stand apart. This year marks 40 years of working in and with Fortune 500s, startups, and scale-ups - as an executive, an investor, an advisor, and a solopreneur who loves his craft. I get tremendous joy from seeing executives transform into believers in their quest and companies shift their fortunes as they reimagine their way out of uncertainty. Living squarely in the intersections of how we work, where we work, and why we work has provided me with a unique perspective that serves as the mortar for how I help others to embrace their story.
