Pay quarterly visits to customer corporate offices and actively participate in business reviews. Manage and update customer contracts as appropriate; closely monitor contractual agreement compliance. Director of National Accounts; (2003 to 2006)
Promoted to handle all aspects of national clients' business. Ensured compliance with all contract components. Attended conventions and conferences and served as primary point of contact for customers. Performed a wide array of administrative functions, including executing tests, initiating promotions, changing SKUs, and tracking sales volumes. Forecasted, projected, and modified supply needs by teaming with internal purchasing managers/buyers and customer purchasing groups.

Improved customers' overall operations and satisfaction by monitoring and analyzing profitability, and then making sound recommendations.
Strengthened relationships with clients' senior management and key decision-makers.
Formulated strategies to minimize impact to company operations while implementing new and revised customer SKUs.

Director, Corporate Accounts

Increased scope of responsibility to include 560-restaurant multiple region account generating over $178M in gross sales. Minimized out-of-stock situations and maximized on-time deliveries, working jointly with warehouse, transportation, and customer service staff/management. Collaborated with buyers to assure optimal inventory levels for promotions; proactively resolve obsolete inventory problems; and facilitate maximum fill rates for deliveries. Helped fulfill requests for special reporting and system changes by working with IT department.  
Key Achievements:
Partnered with VP of Product Management to improve all aspects of distribution.
Finalized new 10-year agreement between franchise owners and SYGMA.
Spearheaded deployment and integration of electronic ordering/system changes for all 300+ corporate restaurants.
Developed and implemented new systems to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
