My interest in international finance took me to JPMorgan, where I worked in Risk Management dealing with intricate credit derivatives in New York City and Project Management in Tokyo. I valued the experience, but wanted to pursue a job with a greater sense of meaning and added value to others. This is when I first transitioned and pursued my veterinary career. Over the past 15 years as a veterinarian, I have led and trained new veterinarians, held leadership positions in veterinary associations, and worked in both small and large animal practices. My background has equipped me with methods on building and maintaining strong client relationships, cross-cultural communication skills, entrepreneurship, negotiating and securing buy-ins, and the capacity to persuade senior stakeholders.
