My internship took place while Focus Training was gearing up for their annual training showcase event. Parts of my duties were to improve on previous marketing and PR efforts and also think of new concepts to promote the event.
The event was a success with increased attendance and also generated more requests for proposals than last year's event.
Achieved intern of the week honours for my co ordination of Focus Training entering an overseas market.

Worked for a professional basketball team on their sponsorship campaign with an airline. The aim of the internship was to increase awareness and compile a database of potential customers 
Developed a database of 2,000 fans to be used by Frontier Airlines for promotional purposes.
Worked as part of a team to construct a communications strategy to better reach the Frontier Airlines customer base.
Interacted with and assisted season ticket holders with game day enquiries.

Restructured budget for the fiscal year to make the club run more effectively.
Activated a sponsorship partnership with KPMG that funded the club's activity for the year. Was responsible for putting together the bid for the sponsorship.
Executed a promotional plan to increase attendance at games. This was done by increased presence both on social media sites and also by finding more ways to engage spectators at games so that our games become 'the place to be'.
