Tolulope is an exceptional entrepreneurially minded and data-driven digital innovation leader, with a successful track record of managing corporate digital innovation projects and delivering viable digital products. He is skilled in managing multiple customer-centric and business goals-aligned innovation projects from innovation sprints to validated product delivery, leveraging multiple innovation approaches including design thinking, business model canvas generation, and the lean startup methodology. He is also highly skilled in fostering cross-functional collaboration within the organization, towards developing and executing product innovation strategy, and leading cross-functional teams for co-creating products that deliver delightsome customer experiences.. I have deep interests in working with early stage companies and innovation projects in the deep tech space that are solving problems in financial services, healthcare, agriculture education, energy, and transportation for the next billion users. Over the last 10 years, I have worked in various tech startup support capacities, within and outside the university environment, including; as a startup advisor, venture builder and innovation program manager. In 2015, I worked with a team in developing the blueprint for a national business plan competition for university students across Nigeria. Furthermore, I have gained experience convening pitching competitions, hackathons and more recently, startup acceleration programs. As a venture builder, I have been involved with business model generation, value proposition design, business idea testing, customer acquisition and MVP development. I have also worked with startups to deliver disruptive innovation to the market through product development, business model generation, business idea testing and validation, talent on-boarding, customer acquisition and startup financing. As a corporate innovation consultant, I led Hactiv8 Labs, a company that offers advisory and innovation outsourcing or co-creation services to corporate organisations and start-ups who are seeking to leveraging the power of Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things to deliver disruptive innovation across various sectors and industries including, financial services, healthcare, agriculture, energy, waste management, transportation and education. I have also spent eight years teaching wireless communication principles and doing research in next generation wireless networks and IoT.
