Some call me a social impact entrepreneur....I prefer Wanderer, Builder, and Storyteller. My career has focused on launching, scaling, and leading innovative early-stage organizations (e.g. grassroots movements, startups, nonprofit organizations, social programs, political campaigns). I have trained aspiring medical students; led grassroots operations for political campaigns at the presidential, U.S. Senate, and local levels; helped formerly incarcerated individuals launch businesses in New Orleans, trialed direct cash transfers programs, advocated to federal and state legislators on poverty reduction, and scaled movements to address childhood sexual violence. If there is one throughline to my career, it is this: I take risks and welcome failure in the pursuit of social impact. I have failed more times than I can count. I've missed deadlines. I've released broken MVPs. I've fallen short of KPIs. I've delivered the wrong message. I've hired the wrong person and given the wrong advice. I've failed time and again....and I couldn't be more proud of that fact. Failure means you're taking risks. Join me, and let's make the necessary mistakes in our pursuit of social good.
