My journey in technology development began in the field of electronics when I worked on top-secret projects for the Federal Government. The shift from electronics to software development occurred when I realized I was spending excessive time performing calculations. Consequently, I created my first practical software application for calculating etched components on Teflon printed circuit boards. During my tenure with a Government Contractor, I was assigned the arduous task of dissecting a 150-page Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify its requirements. I found this task to be quite burdensome. Recognizing recurring patterns in the manual breakdown process, I saw the potential for automation and developed the first fully automated RFP Parser. I initially used this RFP Parser for my own tasks to assist proposal teams. In 2004, I demonstrated the RFP Parser to some Shipley Associates VPs, who then introduced it to the Founder of Privia. Subsequently, the RFP Parser was transformed into a commercial software product known as the RFP Analyzer and was sold and branded under Privia until 2006 when Privia changed hands. During this period, I retained ownership of the RFP Analyzer. A decade later, I founded a new company called Atebion LLC, the name meaning "solution" in Welsh. Atebion introduced a software RFP parser called the Document Analyzer, which underwent further enhancements and was eventually rebranded as the Professional Document Analyzer. In 2020, Atebion transferred the intellectual property of the Professional Document Analyzer to an investor to establish a new entity, Scion Analytics. In my role as Executive Vice President, I departed from Scion Analytics in August 2021 to create an AI-focused company called Golden Goose AI. Over a span of more than two years, Golden Goose AI has developed various AI-related technologies, with one of the most significant being a highly efficient analysis algorithm based on vector algorithms. This innovation enabled us to process analyses within seconds, tasks that would otherwise have taken hours. In January 2024, we released Proposal Quick Start (PQS) business and proposal development software. PQS represents a novel type of software designed to meet the criteria of Power, Simplicity, and Speed. In contrast to my earlier software, which required extensive training to harness its power, PQS is as straightforward as Drag, Drop, and Click.
