Legal work experience. By spending 3 weeks at Jaswal Johnston LLP I gained valuable experience conducting research for and helping administrate a range of legal cases. It helped me to understand the internal mechanics of a law firm and introduced me to legal practice relating to aspects of residential property law, employment law and commercial law.

In- house legal work experience. This involved working alongside various members of the legal department including the Commercial Law team, the IT and Data Protection Law team, and the Risk and Compliance Team.

Work experience with the forensic accounting department, and Human Relations team, through this experience I gained analytical and investigatory skills and expanded my understanding regarding the day to day functioning of a large global company.

NCS - National Citizen Service Trust

As a Team Mentor for NCS I was responsible for and lead a team of twelve 15-17 year old young people on a residential summer camp. This role involved challenges such as monitoring the day to wellbeing of the young people in my team, as well as having to display leadership, teamwork, and crisis management skills.

Vision Engineering Ltd

My role at Vision Engineering involved multiple different tasks in helping move Vision Engineering from their old facility to their new one. I helped in landscaping the surrounding area such as gravelling the car park and strimming the gardens. I also worked closely with the facility’s maintenance team to help move equipment from their previous warehouse to the new one. This helped me develop vital teamwork skills and self-discipline.

Shadowing members of the Risk and Compliance Team to gain an understanding of Company Law, offset and counter trade, export controls, and sanction regulations.

Postgraduate Student at the University of Law, currently working towards completing the Legal Practice Course (LPC) in 2022. 

I passed the Graduate Diploma in Law in June 2021 achieving a commendation. 

I previously studied History and International Relations for 3 years at Oxford Brookes University achieving a 2:1. 

I have both legal and non legal work experience and view myself as keen, enthusiastic, and personable, with previous leadership and teamwork experience. Through working with NCS The Challenge I also have experience working with children, and individuals with disabilities.
