I took over a local business and turned it into a recognizable, profitable brand of top class grocery stores (Czereśniak Good Food) based on outstanding shopping experience: high quality of product and excellent service. The brand has been bought by an individual investor and continues to operate.

Parallelly, together with the –BeBetter!– company, I have been conducting workshops on communication within the Anglo-Saxons corporate culture. It is part of the IST concept (Intense Subject-oriented Trainings), created and developed by –BeBetter!– provider of language services for companies.

Silliker Polska is part of Mérieux NutriSciences Corp., an international network of accredited laboratories
(Microbiology and Physiochemistry) and consulting offices specializing in quality assurance and food safety services.

FedEx Logistics (formerly Trade Networks & Brokerage) provides supply chain and freight forwarding solutions world-wide and is part of the FedEx Corporation.

* Strategy developed for 5 + 5 years including: products, sales, go-to-market strategy, pricing strategy,
* Compliance: vendor management, internal audits, risk assessment, labor contracts, customer
contract management, order to cash processes, anti-bribery mechanisms,
* Procurement/Pricing/Sales: vendor relationship management, tender management, spot quotes
process management, leverage on buying power, pipe line management, client retention, gross margin
planning.
* Hit-Ratio (percentage of won shipping orders from all quoted)
* HR/Operations: a customer-centric company culture, KPI measurement, retention of talents & high
potentials, replacement on managerial positions (Gdynia Branch, Country Sales, Road Freight),
* Finance: cooperation between Operation and Finance, introduction of dashboard into weekly reporting,

BeBetter! | Usługi językowe dla firm

BeBetter! (set up in 2008) is a modern provider of language related services that include:
* in-company long-term trainings, 
* translations & interpretation, 
* intensive business trainings. 
Over 50 teachers and translators teamed up under the BeBetter! umbrella and nearly 20.000 lessons of tailor made first class language courses provided in 2017.

Main achievements:
	Tripled revenue in the translation & interpretation sector and increased overall gross profit 5 times,
	Implemented new product: a set of short-term, intensive, subject-oriented language trainings (IST). Within 9 months it became a generator of 25% of total revenue and second most profitable product.

Managing Director 

HABA-SPED LOGISTICS (POLAND) Sp. z o.o.

HABA-SPED is a Swiss freight forwarder with international range having nearly 100 offices. Its core competence is Sea Freight. It was a start-up and no-name brand when entering the Polish market.

Main achievements:
*  Developed business strategy that enabled a break even within first 7 months of performance,
*  Establishing from scratch a vital and functional organization with a country-wide dispersed structure,
*  Effective P&L management combined with risk analysis that helped to build and maintain a healthy clients portfolio,
*  Team management embracing mentoring, talent retention and support on right career development.

Agility Logistics sp. z o.o.

Agility offers air, ocean and road freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution and logistical services to companies around the globe, with a global revenue (2013) of US$4,85 billion.

Main achievements:
*  Effective P&L management based on air- & sea freight that led the branch into black figures within 14 months from taking over this role, 
*  Created and managed a new department: Gas&Oil Logistics that turned into Project Logistics Department which generated 40% of total companies GP in 3 consecutive years (2012, 2013, 2014),
*  Together with the sales & operational teams secured growth of the clients portfolio by more than 500% comparing 2014 to 2009 through an efficient sales program and my team building approach.

Branch Manager / Air & Sea Manager

Weiss-Rohlig, Chicago, USA

A multinational freight forwarder built upon Röhlig & Co Holding GmbH & Co.KG and Gebrüder Weiss GmbH. A joint global network of more than 6000 people, generating globally € 666,5 Mio Revenue in 2010.

*  Built an initial client base of more than 200 repeat customers importing: electronics, retail, exclusive textile products, machinery parts and heavy tools,
*  Effective cooperation with regular sales department providing hot leads on weekly basis,
*  Taking part on the route development program from Far East to the U.S..

Sales Representative / Trans Pacific Development

Röhlig is a global logistics provider of sea and air freight, project logistics and supply chain management. Holding varying positions within the company, I gained a valuable overview and essential understanding of the industry which proved invaluable to my later management position:
 
*  Air freight HUB clerk: My role focused on handling air consolidations from Far East and the U.S., servicing Eastern European offices in Poland, Czech, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. (Frankfurt 2006-2007).
*  Sea freight Import Operations: overseeing the full sea freight import service of shipments from India, USA and China and liaising with German clients. (Hamburg 2006-2006).

* Organizing and supervising airfreight cargo as well as freight trucks arriving from Frankfurt with air consolidations and ensuring a professional, cost-effective service within set timescales. (2004-2006).
*  Development of air-, sea- and road freight products in form of direct sales country-wide. (2002-2004).
