I work with people and organisations to help them to deal with High Frequency Change, the result of a shrunken world of low friction communication. I do this through speaking, writing, broadcasting, teaching and consulting. I have developed and proven three original tools for Foresight, Narrative Planning and Agile Organisation Design that I now licence to companies and individuals who recognise that we need a new way of doing business that is fit for a fast-changing world. I use these tools in my own work, teach them to students and executives, and licence them to various consultancies to use with their own clients. The rest of my time is divided between speaking engagements, media and direct consulting. I speak at events around the world, in New York, Boston, Toronto, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona and more, on the future of a wide range of industries and sectors: transport, health, retail, communications, media, management, marketing and manufacturing. The nature of my toolkit means it can be applied to any area - even superyachts on one occasion! In the media you can catch me most weeks on BBC TV and radio, across BBC Breakfast, 5live, Radio 4 and other local and national stations. I've also featured in and worked on shows for Channel 4 (Sunday Brunch, In the Future, Home Hero), Channel 5 (Saturday Show) and Sky News, and been quoted in The Guardian and Entrepreneur Magazine (US). Direct client engagements cover a huge range of challenges, from half-day strategy sessions and workshops on key skills and topics, to co-operation on content-driven marketing campaigns, to long term projects to completely re-engineer the business.
