I started ASBC to give people who desired to own their own business with the expertise, advice, and introductions to rapidly help them succeed.  95% of the business owners I have worked with are women. My personal brand is "My Passion is Turning Your Passion into your Dream".  My book, "Ladies, You Can Do This" chronicles the business knowledge needed to be in business and has success stories of the women I have worked with over the years.

SCORE

As a member of the Cincinnati SCORE chapter, I have had the privilege of working with several very fine new business entrepreneurs and their ideas.  SCORE is the counseling arm of the SBA.  We provide free business counseling to anyone who contacts us, and work with local service providers to help reach potential business owners to aid them in starting their business.  Also, we have been instrumental in helping with Mayor Mallory’s Shop 52 series of seminars, and are working with leaders in the Wilmington area to help their economic situation.  Volunteering for SCORE as a counselor is strictly philanthropy.  We are not paid for our time there.  It is our collective way of giving back to the community in trying to pass on the lessons we have all learned from our business ventures.

One lucky fellow!!  Accumulated over 3000+ flight hours in the A-7D, A-10A, and O-2A.  Flew in every corner of the then free world and every square inch of Alaska.  Scared hell out of our friends the Russians – cost you a beer to hear that story.  Never fired a shot in anger.  My guys flew A-10s in the first Gulf War.  My part was I trained them to fight and they all came home.  Did not lose a one of them.  I was in Alaska, on a secure base, in a secure building, in a vault, in another vault.  My girls and Mom were happy I was far from the action.  I called everyone I knew and could not even get a job sweeping sand off the runway.  Flight Commander several times, Assistant Operations officer, Instructor Pilot for several operational squadrons, Plans Officer, USAF guy in charge of all logistics movement analysis for USTRANSCOM.  It was quite the ride, and I worked with some of the finest people in the world.  One man should not be so blessed.
