My "only do what only you can do" is to support brave leaders ready to lead massive change, ready for "What Comes Next" More specifically, I help leaders of large and complex organisations to find "simplicity on the other side of complexity", first by analysing and diagnosing what is "at source", then bringing clarity in a concise way to their message, before being at their side as they lead through communication and gaining engagement and alignment to empower their people to action. In this role, I bring my global experience of finance and business, allied to the listening and understanding of a coach, hence I use the term Sounding Board. Who am I? I often start with "recovering Chartered Accountant". My experience is Global, having worked in 40+ countries. I have been involved "hands-on" in buying, building, restructuring and selling over 30 companies, as small as a few hundred $k and as large as beyond $100 million. For well over a decade now, though, my primary focus has been on leaders of large and complex organisations, often CEOs or C-suites of international listed companies who are ready to be supported in leading brave and massive change. Beyond my client work, I am "always active, never busy" and range widely, meeting with and listening to people, reading and in other ways absorbing ideas, often connecting dots to help leaders see clearly into the crystal ball of our uncertain future. I am also passionate about the power of mentoring, so I mentor and support individuals at various ages and stages, with a particular focus on addressing inequities and inequalities of opportunity in society and business, and within that, on supporting women leaders. For years, I also wrote daily on #OpenLeadership on my site, with well over 2,000 posts in the library for you to browse, as well as over 100 podcasts with inspiring leaders, all hosted at WhatComesNext.Live. Finally, also hosted on the main site is a mini-site, Elevating Leaders, a podcast series of fifteen-minute interviews with inspiring women leaders, aimed to inspire women on their career journey.
