As the CEO of Tide 55, my role is to work closely with our clients to engineer a marketing strategy and then deliver business based results. This could look like a single service offer like for example “SEO” or “Google ads” - or it could require us to become an outsourced marketing department. Personally, I enjoy working at “board level” with the business owner, to consult them on their overall growth strategy. To get “in their corner” and make use of the 10+ years of experience that I have in coaching. I’ve built a team of highly efficient and committed marketers with a range of skills and abilities. Our clients can benefit from our “whole team approach” for less than the cost of an entry level full time salary. I’ve always ran my own businesses. I’ve been a business owner since 2007 and gratefully I’m still going strong. I appreciate and understand what it means to have “ skin in the game” and the experience that I’ve had running a personal training studio, a gym with 12 staff, an events business and coaching business and now a marketing agency, have taught me a lot about business. I believe that to be one of Tide 55’s advantages over other choices in the market. I’m a go getter. I learned at an early age that life is there to be grabbed with both hands. Life is precious. I don’t know about you but I want to see what I’m capable of. What I can build and what I can achieve…and the overall impact that is has. Outside of business I have achieved 2x black belts. One in Tae Kwon Do and one in Japanese Ju Jitsu. I’ve represented England at 3x sport ju jitsu world championships, of which I won a gold medal in one of them. I play rugby, because it challenges me. Before this, I played football, but realised my ceiling so I switched it up. I’m the chairman of The Jamie G Sporting Trust and a school governor. I also coach under 7s rugby and football teams. I’m a Father of 2 (boy 7, girl 4) and a husband (wife 36) Occasionally, I get asked to speak at events. I tend to only do paid gigs and will commonly speak about resilience, transforming challenge into confidence, and the human side of marketing.
