While my time in the CRO world has taught me well and gave me some real deep insights of how details matter and can make a huge impact, I desperately needed something more tangible & easily transferable to the start-up environment I'm so deeply in love with. Doing real business was what I needed.

Here came my transfer to the User Acquisition team. Working beside absolute beasts & ultimate Gandalf's of the field and being able to learn from them day to day activated the disproportionate growth in Online Marketing & Business Development.

I have been given the responsibility to run campaigns & manage 7-digit budgets across the majority of self-serving platforms, social media such as Facebook Ads, Snap Ads, Twitter Ads, TikTok Ads as well as some affiliate networks & agencies.

GGS was the first time I have ever come across the gaming industry and despite not being a gamer at all, I saw this as an incredible opportunity to challenge myself. Not only did I have to adapt to the very complex business model and monetization system, I had to make myself familiar with the product and the whole industry as well.

I started as an intern, working student supporting my manager in the Conversion Marketing Team (CRO). Mainly responsible for coming up with Analysis of Impact & Influence of changes caused by CVR Optimization efforts.

Since GGS has various game titles running on both desktop and mobile, my job consisted of Landing Page Optimization (desktop) as well as App Store Optimization (ASO, mobile). Coming up with hypothesis behind the tests, creative assets to enable the testing, executing A/B tests, and summarizing & reporting the results as well as the business impact.

Throughout this period of time, I have developed a hate-love relationship with data and analytics, and so I ended up creating my own Dashboards to help me monitor the CVR of all the products while also giving me full freedom in coming up with own calculated metrics, aggregating and defining specific dimensions & segments or using custom data filtering.

The Brotherhood is a start-up founded in late 2016 with a sole purpose of stepping up the men's fashion game in the Czech Republic.

To match that ambition, The Brotherhood serves as a highly customer-oriented e-commerce specializing in gentlemen accessories. Besides, free tailor-made consultancy services are being offered – advising gentlemen with event dress-codes such as weddings, anniversaries, proms etc.

Founded by 3 male fashionistas with enormous passion for fashion.

TB was my very first project, getting aboard right after graduating high-school at the age of 19. I had 0 experience with or knowledge of business, entrepreneurship, e-com, online marketing, logistics, fulfillment or legal whatsover.

Yet, managing to launch the whole project a few months later was a lifetime experience to me, truly proud of myself & my learning curve.

This has reduced my time dedicated to hiring from 5h/week to 30 min/week, and increased the candidate quality tremendously

As a consequence of this, I no longer dread and resent hiring, I actually started to enjoy it (ok I didn't, but it sounds better)

We have successfully closed all our vacancies within 2 weeks in 2024

And the candidates that were rejected are so good I started to refer them to other companies -- and some already got accepted

No excuse not to become a 1-person, AI-powered, automated HR agency making $20k/mo

Client: *2h monologue* and that’s briefly how we want the creatives to look like

Me: ok, what’s your budget?

Client: umm I thought we’re already paying you to manage campaigns, that’s a part of it no?

Me: ok

Creative:

I’ll soon turn 5.

That was a hook.

What I mean is, it will soon be 5 years since I have taken up the challenge of being an entrepreneur and a digital agency founder.

Entrepreneurship allowed me to fail fast and learn quickly, and this is a call to move forward even faster.
