I was a member of a team that successfully led an expansive healthcare transformation of $85 million. 

My contribution focused on surgical suites, overseeing the establishment of the HELP line, and Command Center Ad-Hoc related to Covid-19. 

I established a Preceptorship with CUNY, influencing a small and mighty team of 6, while driving daily project management, leadership rounding, and data analysis for Surgical Services, Women’s Health, Pediatrics and General Medicine.

My key contributions:
• Assisted with implementing "Helping Healers Heal" Program in 2018, establishing a respite room in Harlem during COVID-19. Allocated office space to a Healers team, underwent master training, and replicated training for the Second Victim Response team, elevating the patient experience with empathy among staff and patients.
• Liaised with the CEO, contributing expertise in process improvement, mentoring, strategic planning, and plan implementation. Introduced coaching on project charter development, resource planning, project management best practices, program management, data analytics, and project reporting.
• Delivered technical support during the Epic launch by embedding processes within ambulatory care teams. Collaborated with employees in the matrix service line to develop project plans and strengthen provider communication, patient metrics, and the escalation process.
• Streamlined project management methodologies and communication within the Perioperative Council, resulting in a notable improvement in same-day surgery cancellations (9% in September 2017 compared to 16% in September 2015) and increased front-line employee support for project improvements.
• Secured grant money and participated in committees as a member of the Doctor's Collaborative Council.
• Applied organizational and process management skills for accurate reporting on project status to the Doctor's Collaborative Council, covering budget estimation, patient outcomes metrics, and resource planning.

Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships

As a Program Developer at the Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships, I led a community-based master's project that exemplified my dedication to community enrichment. Devoting 650 hours to research, I presented comprehensive findings to the Board, demonstrating a commitment to thorough and impactful work.

Central to my role was the development of a research proposal that focused on a literature review. This review served as the foundation for creating a community Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) program tailored specifically for African-American children aged 6 to 13. Through a meticulous synthesis of best practices in programming, I provided the Dornsife team with valuable insights and recommendations derived from the literature review.

My efforts aimed not only to inform the development of the community STEAM program but also to enhance the overall approach to future program development initiatives. By leveraging my research and analytical skills, I contributed meaningfully to the Dornsife Center's mission of fostering community partnerships and creating tailored programs that positively impact the lives of the residents in our neighborhood.

Key highlights from my time in this role involved:
•	Investigated the feasibility of an evidence-based Montessori program. Conclusively determined that a Montessori approach was unnecessary, leading to a strategic shift towards more effective teamwork and group think sessions, significantly enhancing programming.
•	Defined comprehensive program guidelines, focusing on essential elements such as teamwork and group dynamics, assuring a holistic approach to children's understanding of budgets through discussions and exercises. Empowered community groups, enabling them to qualify for grants based on the requirements.

I played a pivotal role in the Division of Financial Management & Fee for Service Operations. In this dynamic environment, I provided crucial operational and administrative support to the fee-for-service management branch. One of my key responsibilities involved presenting reports to the Deputy of Financial Management, contributing valuable insights to decision-making processes. As part of my supervisory role, I effectively led a team of 15 individuals, ensuring seamless collaboration and achieving operational excellence.

I communicated approvals or denials while guiding them through program utilization and understanding health insurance intricacies. I extended my support to the Accountable Care Organization's workgroup, contributing to its efficient functioning. In my interactions with beneficiaries, I emphasized a holistic approach, especially when counseling on the Worker's Compensation Medicare Set-Aside.

Some of the significant achievements during this tenure were:
•	Accelerated the approval process for congressional workers' compensation claims, slashing the timeframe from 60 days to an impressive 25 days through strategic training and outreach efforts. Simplified instructions led to a significant impact, enabling a swift turnaround that decreased processing time from 2 days to 15 mins.
•	Transformed the intricate language of CMS documents into easily understandable content, enhancing accessibility and comprehension for diverse audiences within the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
•	Compiled a comprehensive spreadsheet outlining distinctions among the 5 distinct accountable care organization models, fostering clarity and informed decision-making.
•	Exhibited a keen ability to synthesize meeting information seamlessly into daily contract support, delivering invaluable pre- and post-meeting assistance.

I spearheaded a team of 10 physical therapy aides. Through hands-on training initiatives, I ensured exemplary customer service at various sites, contributing to the clinic's commitment to excellence. I established a reputation for proficiency in insurance verification and coverage closure. This played a pivotal role in enhancing the clinic's standing within the community. Additionally, I navigated conflict resolution with patients undergoing pain management, fostering a safe and productive work environment for our dedicated staff.

I conducted monthly training sessions on office etiquette and facilitated ongoing education opportunities. This commitment to professional development not only boosted the team's skills but also reinforced a culture of growth within the organization. In handling sensitive matters such as insurance, I maintained a discreet approach, ensuring the confidentiality of information. I instilled confidence in the staff, fostering a sense of security and dedication to their roles.

An excerpt from the tenure includes the following highlights:
•	Secured $20K in savings within 2 months by optimizing the FIFO process for durable medical equipment, leading to the acquisition of enhanced equipment, including a new patient bench with a massage function.
•	Supervised physical therapy aides and adhered to rehabilitation equipment usage and HIPAA guidelines, contributing to a high level of customer service, integrity, and confidential information management.
•	Conducted an analysis of the company's durable medical equipment processes and procedures while sharing valuable recommendations for improved management, inventory control, and cost savings.
