I’m the only one in my family that is not a teacher. Both my parents are teachers. My sister is a teacher. And my brother is a teacher. My childhood was full of opportunities to learn something new, ask questions, solve challenges, and exchange knowledge with others. So on the surface, it’s a bit unexpected I ended up in the B2B SaaS world… But as I reflect on my approach to sales and customer success, it’s obvious how being surrounded by teachers has influenced my day-to-day interactions: •I engage with new people every day with specific challenges they’re looking to solve •I ask questions and listen to learn about their processes and goals •I present solutions to solve a challenge and provide them with the resources they need to come to a decision •I help them implement a new solution and train their team •And I continue to work with them…asking questions, listening to feedback, and solving new challenges that come up Ultimately, I am proud to deliver sales and customer success experiences with a teacher's mindset and couldn’t realistically do it any other way.
