Leadership is the key to any winning organization. 2. Winning is the only thing that matters. Championships over scoring titles, it's all about the team. 3. Culture - Knowing every person's role and getting everyone to work towards achieving a common goal is the key to building a championship culture. 4. Strategy - If you don't know your strengths/weaknesses vs. your competition, you might as well not even show up for the game. 5. Execution - Having a strategic game plan means absolutely nothing without the discipline and focus to execute. 6. Competition breeds success. Surround your team with as much talent as possible and everyone raises their level of play. 7. Teamwork - The most talented team doesn't always win. The team whose talent works hardest, smartest and the best together does. 8. Integrity - Cheaters never win & winners never cheat. Customers and company first, team second, self third and everyone wins. 9. Moneyball - Great GMs can leverage their financial acumen to maximize the resources to acquire and retain the best collective group of coaches, players and support staff. 10. Passion and Grit - Greatness occurs when a group of people convince themselves that failure is not an option and their determination to succeed breaks through any obstacles that stand in their way.
