I have been a teacher since 2014 except for the two years I was at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) for an MS in Cognitive Neuroscience on the Fulbright Scholarship. I have taught various courses in psychology and neurobiology to college and university students, and of the nine students I taught Cambridge International A2 Psychology from 2020-2021 during lockdown when most of my classes were online, two got A*’s and two got A’s. In my experience, explaining basic logic and the philosophical rationale of the scientific method to students helps imbue them with a passion for inquiry, which I think is a teacher’s truest purpose.
