Director - HPI (Hasso Plattner Institute) projects

Setup a cross-organizational unit (XU) Product Architecture team with the mission to consolidate and evolve SAP's product software architecture to enable sustainable market-leading solutions. 
XUPA has been reporting directly into both board members Peter Zencke and Shai Agassi. 
The XU Product Architecture team defined the 3-5 year architecture blueprint for SAP's products and solutions, including boundaries between major building blocks such as the Application Platform, mySAP Business Suite, platform based mySAP All-in-One (A1S), and SAP NetWeaver.

•	Successfully established the service-oriented architecture and applied business meaning to the service oriented architecture (SOA) at SAP. 
•	Formulate and drive SAP’s Enterprise Services Architecture.

Consequently, he was and is an executive board member in selected national and international organizations, such as the MIT Supply Chain Technology Advisory Board in Boston (2012 - 2014), Connected Living Organization in Berlin (2013 - present), Biodiversity Institute of Ontario in Canada (2014 - 2018), and Muenchener Kreis (2014 - 2016).
