I'm a Washington-based national correspondent covering Capitol Hill, the Biden administration and other national and international news. You'll see me on air every morning in major markets and small towns across America. I provide 20+ live and taped reports every day for the Early Today Show and local morning newscasts, covering of Washington's biggest stories for the network's ~200 affiliates, network and foreign clients throughout the world. 
 - Appointed to the News Group's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council Partnerships Task Force

Morning anchor (1996-97); Weekend anchor/reporter (1994-96); Reporter (1992-94). Covered general assignments, with a speciality in education, for this East Tennessee ABC affiliate. Developed expertise in anchoring and live, breaking news. Produced and hosted weekly public affairs program and half-hour news specials. Honored by the Society of Professional Journalists, National Association of Black Journalists and Tennessee Education Association (2 Tenn. School Bell awards).

Produced and anchored morning "Today Show" cut-ins and covered health news and general assignments for this northern Alabama NBC affiliate. Produced and hosted weekly public affairs program.
