I enjoy working across cultures in complex entrepreneurial businesses where change is occurring. I have spent a lot of time explaining to shareholders, journalists, analysts and other stakeholders how different businesses operate, building a broad range of relationships internally and externally. I have explained strategy, defended and advocated for corporate decisions and described a wide range of policies and different kinds of operational news. My career has included corporate law, financial communications and investor relations. For most of my working life I have been based in the UK but I have also worked in the US for businesses in the North East and Texas. I have also studied and lived in France and Denmark, and I have dealt with many colleagues and other stakeholders from all around the world.
