It was the fall of 1993 and the height of technology at the time was a AA-powered toy that could warp your voice and record cassette tapes. Or so I thought, until I had to research a project for class and my Dewey Decimal skills failed to locate any helpful books. It was then that a merciful librarian saw my plight and opened my eyes to a whole new world: Microsoft Encarta Encylcopedia and AOL.com on the school's freshly-delivered new computer. That was the day that my passion for technology was born. Fast-forward through an insane explosion of tech to today's era of smart homes and self-driving cars, and I'm proud to have harnessed that same passion in helping several small businesses grow and compete in an ever-changing landscape. Not just through automation, but by helping these businesses reach new audiences and verticals online, build their eCommerce presences, streamline their tech stacks, and deploy IT solutions that keep their users both secure and efficient. It is this shared appreciation for both tech and helping small businesses that has made Fully Accountable the perfect partner in my career. Since 2017, we've worked to empower our accounting staff with the proprietary tools and solutions they need to help hundreds of eCommerce clients increase their profit margins, gain new insights into their financial data, and remove the stress of running their back office. FA has brought together a hodgepodge of people and ideals, but we are all united in a shared embrace of innovation when it means serving our clients better or more efficiently - and I can think of no greater place for putting a passion in technology to use in supporting small businesses.
