Investor/Board Engagement
- Develop and maintain all investor communication and marketing materials, both in print and electronic formats.
- Maintain an accurate list of current investors and files (electronic and hard copy) including their investment history, contact information, and any other pertinent data.
- Work with Chief Operating Officer and Bookkeeper to ensure timely billing of and collections from investors.
- Develop an active pipeline of new investor opportunities; manage relationship development and necessary follow-up.
- Working with President, manage Board of Directors relationships, including scheduling and handling logistics for all Board meetings, correspondence, and management of individual Director terms.
- Plan and execute the TEDC annual meeting.
- Serve as staff liaison for Resource Committee.
2. Business Development
- Assist Senior Vice President in executing the business development strategies of the TEDC by:
- Responding to assigned prospect inquiries and
coordinating prospect visits as assigned, including gathering and professional packaging of the required information, working with other prospect team members (both inside and outside the organization), and managing all logistical requirements of assigned prospect visits.
- Maintain current electronic and hard copy documentation of assigned prospects/projects for organizational planning and reporting using approved reporting systems.
- Maintain confidentiality of all business inquiries and prospect/project information.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with TEDC partners to facilitate the prospect/project management process.
- Participate in business development strategy sessions.
3. Existing Industry Engagement
- Develop and coordinate systemic primary employer visitation program utilizing Salesforce platform.
- Coordinate and provide support for Tyler Area Manufacturers and Processors Group.
4. Represent the TEDC on committees, boards, and associations as assigned.
