Hello, I am Trideba. I have graduated with a PhD in engineering in February 2020 from the dept. of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, India. The research focus of my thesis was on signal processing for active control of acoustic noise. During this period, I was also a research fellow in the Mandi ASR phase-II consortium project- "Speech based access of agricultural commodity prices and weather information in 12 Indian languages" sponsored by TDIL, MeitY, Govt. of India from November 2014 to June 2018. Subsequently after my PhD, I was a post doctoral fellow for 2 years, up to March 2022 at the dept. of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Stellenbosch University, South Africa working on the development of keyword spotting systems in Malian languages for the United Nations to support their humanitarian efforts in Africa. Since April 2022, I am working as a principal applied scientist in the Oracle AI speech science team based in Rennes, France, on research problems and software development particularly related to acoustic modeling and automatic speech recognition for Oracle Health & AI and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. My research interests include active noise control, speech and language processing and speech recognition for low-resource languages.
