For over 15 years, I dedicated myself to K-12 reading instruction, earning the Florida High Impact Teacher Award multiple times for guiding students to the top 10% reading proficiency gains statewide. This recognition reflects both my commitment to instructional excellence and my students’ incredible determination to succeed. My love for and expertise in the Science of Reading is demonstrated in my longstanding career as a reading educator.   But my passion for teaching extends beyond the classroom. Seeing a need for financial literacy education in underserved communities, I founded a company to provide financial literacy workshops and credit improvement services to students and families. I also built a resource hub offering free financial education tools for those who may not have access to paid services. Watching lives transform through knowledge has been the theme of my journey. Driven by a desire to create even greater impact, I pivoted into EdTech sales, where I built on my entrepreneurial experience. As an EdTech Account Manager and Sales Development Representative, I mastered B2B full-cycle consultative sales, including prospecting, delivering demos, sales methodology, and objection handling. I managed complex sales pipelines, represented my organizations at conferences, and facilitated successful product adoption partnerships with school and district leaders. This role strengthened my ability to articulate value, build relationships, and leverage data-driven insights to support school leaders in achieving student success. Looking ahead, I’m excited to combine my expertise in education, EdTech Sales, and program management to contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven organization. I thrive at the intersection of education, equity, and innovation, where I can lead with purpose, collaborate across teams, and drive results that create lasting change.
