Worked within Aged Care Providers

I developed a One-on-One Dementia Care Program for those living with dementia. So much of their time is spent participating in a calendar of highly organised group-based activities. 

My work focused on recognising the uniqueness of each person. It started with accepting them as individuals, building trust and empathy to a point where they would invite me to share time with them. 

Unlike other aspects of their day, nothing was pre-planned but evolved as I got to know each person. These conversations embraced the person they have been, who they were now and the opportunities they still had today to celebrate their lives with family, friends and others in care. Where possible, the work was shared with staff enabling them to talk with them in a far more meaningful way.

The work I undertook with them included:
- Compiling memories & family history through web sites, books, photos & videos - Building highly personalised music playlists in minutes through an app 
- Recreating life-sized versions of known magazines over the decades 
- Creating experiences such as rides in treasured cars from their past
- Virtual Reality experiences including using an App that takes residents back 
   to their home towns...even small villages in Italy.

The main Digital Agency partner during my time at Samsung Australia.

I was asked to join the agency for a short period of 6 months to improve the working processes between the agency and Samsung. I led an account service team of 3 to also improve processes across all clients and implement a dedicated Business Development Program.

Cheil Australia - Samsung's Internal Advertising, Marketing Communications Agency

I led a team who effectively had over 50 client contacts across 5 Samsung Divisions: AV, Mobile Phones, Whitegoods, IT and Corporate.

A Member of the Samsung Management Board.

Workflow included Television Commercials, Sponsorship, Print, Retail POS & Product Brochures, Outdoor, Sales Promotions, Digital, Retail Staff Education, Experiential, Retailer & Consumer Events, Websites, Major Product Launches, 
Samsung Brand Relaunches and Market Research.

Managed the workflow and implementation between the client contacts. Managed the Partnerships with 8 external agencies: Brand, Digital, Media, Events, POS, Retailer Education Programs and Promotions. Production, implementation and campaign analysis across Australia and New Zealand.

Agencies included: JWT, Leo Burnett, Mindshare, Starcom, Onque, ABT,  Bamboo Marketing.

Cheil Australia was ultimately responsible for each and every marketing activity delivered on-brand, on-time and on-budget with an annual spend of $40 million+

Grey3 – Direct and Digital Agency. Part of the Grey Group of Agencies and WPP.

As Marketing Director I worked across the Client Service Teams in Australia and New Zealand on a diverse range of clients and led the Business Development Program for Grey3 with new business pitches and presentations.

Rh Positive (Part of AdPartners Group)

I led the Account Service Team of Rh Positive (Ad Partners Business to Business Agency). 

Clients included Mitsubishi, American Express Platinum, Silversea Cruises, TNT Komatsu, Powertel Great Southern Energy, EAC and Centrepoint. 
I also led the agency's business development campaign.

Developed a major marketing partnership for Silversea Cruises including Amex Platinum, Swift & Moore (Moet & Chandon Champagne), Le Cordon Bleu Academy and Bvlgari. The direct marketing campaign for a series of exclusive events returned a response rate of 38%. The sales from one of the 4 exclusive events more than paid for the Campaign.

Group Account Director

After a career in the advertising, marketing and communications industry, there had to be something more meaningful than just selling more and more stuff!

I studied and took my transferrable work and people skills into the care sector. 

I have enjoyed the challenges and the sheer joy of working one-on-one with those living with dementia across Home Care, Respite Care and Aged Care Homes. 

I thrive on re-invention, ongoing learning and new opportunities to grow.
