I am a journalist, civic hacker, community volunteer, serial entrepreneur, and magic-bean buyer. Currently I work as a client advocate for 9b, where we provide data and analytics solutions to purpose-driven organizations. I also serve as a leader at Tri City Collective (https://www.tricitycollective.com/), and on the board of the Urban Coders Guild (http://www.urbancodersguild.com/). I was selected by national urban-affairs magazine NextCity (http://nexcity.org) as part of its 2014 Vanguard Class. I am passionate about historical research & writing, improving public policy, and collaborating with local creatives. I'm married to an awesome 2nd-grade teacher, and my daughter and I are learning to play the guitar.
