I founded Wheelchair Friendly Taxis by approaching private companies and NHS local authorities to carry out their transportation of wheelchair users.
When I found a gap in this niche market I then started raising funding to purchase specially adapted vehicles to supply to staff to fill the available contracts.
The company has grown over the years to supplying contracts all across Sussex and Surrey.
The company is also a proud sponsor of Circus Starr entertainment for children, Lend with Care and UK Guide Dogs.
This company meant alot to me as it literally meant providing solutions for elderly and disabled individuals and allowing them to access healthcare, family events and days out they would not have been able to attend without the formation of Wheelchair Friendly Taxis. Proud and happy to have been part of it.

Day 36/75 hard 

Not sure why I decided to do this while 

- on holiday 
- on my birthday 
- away at conferences

Because these would usually be excuses to eat and drink too much and skip the gym

We got talking through LinkedIn a few years ago and 

despite not actually meeting until now, I class Graham as a good friend!

We have both gone through some tough times in the deal making game but ultimately we always came through them 

It def helped having him on the other end of the phone! 👌🏻

I was rocking the pram with one hand and a beer in the other 

It was late morning Teneriffe time but I could tell this person needed my help so 

I stopped trying to impress the Spanish waitress by listing my favourite Real Madrid players from the 2002 season and picked up the phone 

(shout out to Fernando Hierro, underrated player) 

They had spent a fortune buying leads as advised by a trade guru who may or may not been on the apprentice and since gone bust….

They were losing money every month and had to top the bank account with their own cash 

During that beer stop while being father of the year, we agreed a deal 

To get them profitable again or we will return their shares for free 

7 months later this business has improved profitability by 300% and

Laid some extremely large and solid foundations to replicate even bigger growth 

I expect this business to be valued at 7 figures within the next year 

Very very proud of this business owner

And they should be very proud of themselves

Great to hit the gym and grab some food in Leeds with the big man Dean Cameron at the weekend 

Firstly I thought I was the man shoulder pressing 24kg’s until Dean warmed up with them 😔 

Dean has just acquired a plumbing business that is over 100 years old with Graham Edden  

They are going to turn that business into something really special and I’m excited to follow their journey

After a mental couple of weeks away with family, speaking engagements and onboarding new companies 

Spent the morning with boys in Surrey countryside 

Great reminder of what’s really important 

Then off to London tomorrow for another 3 nights living out of a hotel to be part of Jeremy Harbours latest teachings to new deal makers 

Loving life at the minute 👌🏻

Great few weeks at Harbour Club events across the UK

Lots of new opportunities and things to think about while also staying focused on growing and helping our portfolio companies 

Branching out to the States could be fun though…

Everybody posting about how busy they are when the real question is

 “how efficient were you?”

Every living human on earth fills their 24 hours with stuff every single day 

So by definition being busy Is not an achievement 

It’s what you achieved that matters 

If you and your business are in the same place you were in January then your being busy is a complete waste of time 

Efficiency over busy

I challenge anybody to follow the 75 hard tasks for 4 weeks and tell me their business has not improved….

It’s like steroids but for your brain
