Toddler App

Toddler App is a fun and educational app, specially designed for babies and toddlers. In contrast to most apps for this age group, Toddler App contains no advertisements, no popups and children cannot access the menu's. It contains enlarged clickable areas so small fingers can easily interact with it, and has colorful imagery in different themes.

Intersport is the global leader in Sports Retail with more than 5500 stores in 44 countries. At the new Digital Headquarter in Amsterdam, I am responsible for the development of our global platform and the development and execution of the Omnichannel strategy.
- Improving and optimising our platform to deliver a unique experience, 
- Exploiting our large store footprint to the fullest by offering in-store digital tools such as ship-from-store, mobile extended aisle apps and seamless in-store payments,
- Driving our organisation for data-informed decision making,
- Generating new income streams, and
- Creating a transparent and collaborative way of working

Head of Product & Omnichannel

I was responsible for the development and execution of the Omnichannel strategy. I focussed on improving the Omnichannel customer experience, by optimising our platform to exploit our large store footprint to the fullest. Harmonising the online and off-line world, digitising the stores, enabling store staff through digital tooling are key areas and enabling fulfilment related operations such as ship-from-store, collect-from-store are key topics.

Next to this I drive data-informed decision making, for instance by initiating a CRO program.

Head of Omnichannel

I was responsible for the development and international rollout of the new e-commerce platform, expanded from 0 to currently 10 countries. Activities include:
- Defining and execute the product roadmap
- Set up CRO capabilities and initiate split testing
- Developing and rollout multiple Omnichannel solutions
- Driving adoption in multiple countries and stores

Responsibilities also include enabling digital transformation within the company, product- and supplier selection and management responsibilities.

I was responsible for the development and international rollout of the full new e-commerce platform. This includes defining the roadmap, selection and integration of various systems and developing various Omnichannel applications.

De Bijenkorf is the leading Dutch premium department store (part of the Selfridges group). Together with a team of marketeers, e-commerce specialists, analysts, developers and designers, I translate the customer centric strategy into a matching experience. My focus is on developing a strategy and roadmap, prioritizing the product backlog and managing budgets for our mobile Apps and Omnichannel projects.

Mobile Apps: Responsible for the strategy & development of the iPhone, iPad and Android apps. Completed a full overhaul of the iPhone app, resulting in increased revenue, traffic and customer satisfaction. 

Omnichannel: Responsible for launching and improving Omnichannel opportunities, which create a link between digital & stores, and deliver on the Premium Service promise to our customers. Developed and implemented various projects, including a new system that enables stores to fulfill diverse requests from customers directly.

SkipTheMenu is a Dutch  app for iPhone and Android phones, that provides users with a visual interface of Interactive Voice Response option menu's. It allows you to intuitively navigate through a customer service menu and find the desired department, before making the call. This makes contacting customer services easier, and saves you time and money.

XS4ALL Internet BV

XS4ALL is an internet provider known for its excellent service, expert knowledge and social involvement around internet topics such as freedom of information, lawful interception and censorship. Responsibilities include product lifecycle management, setting and following development roadmaps and translating this into concrete developments.

KPN is the telecommunication incumbent for the Dutch Market (30.000 FTE). I was commercially responsible for the fiber based internet services in the SME, Large and Corporate market segments.

KPN is the telecommunication incumbent for the Dutch Market (30.000 FTE). I was commercially responsible for packaged voice and internet services for the Soho and SME business market segment.

Tour for KiKa

A team of fifteen amateur cycling fanatics rode the Tour de France of 2010 one day ahead of the professionals. The same stages, the same distances, in total about 3740 km's in 20 cycling days with 2 rest days. The main goals of the project were:
- Finish as a team
- To raise EUR 100,000 for the Dutch foundation KiKa (Children Cancerfree).

Both missions were successfully accomplished as all 15 participants finished the event and we managed to even exceed our fundraising goal.
