For over a decade, I’ve served as a mission-driven leader in independent schools, working across academic, operational, and strategic domains to improve the student experience, support faculty growth, and enhance institutional effectiveness. What began as a pivot from the world of corporate IT to school administration in 2013 has since evolved into a career rooted in values-driven leadership. My work has spanned PK-12 co-ed and single-gender schools, where I’ve had the opportunity to lead academic initiatives, implement strategic innovations, and collaborate with every school constituency—from students and teachers to parents, trustees, and alumni. In roles ranging from Director of Strategic Information & Innovation to Academic Council co-lead, I’ve helped shape long-term teaching and learning priorities, launched school-wide professional development efforts, and bridged gaps between departments to drive meaningful change. I’ve also led the merger of technology and library teams, aligned operational work with board-level strategic goals, and partnered with cross-functional teams to streamline enrollment, advancement, communications, and risk management. Beyond my campus roles, I have served on several non-profit boards, including Baltimore Educational Scholarship Trust (B.E.S.T.), Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools (ATLIS), and Association of Independent Maryland and DC Schools (AIMS), and participated in multiple school accreditation visits, experiences that have sharpened my governance perspective and broadened my understanding of school leadership. Above all, I believe in the transformative power of joyful, inclusive, and purposeful education. As I look toward the next chapter in my career, I am focused on academic leadership that inspires growth, cultivates community, and prepares students—and the adults who serve them—for the future, for lives of meaning and impact.
