I led the organizational migration to Cloud-based SaaS messaging, email, and storage services by providing tailored IT risk guidance to senior leadership in support of Army-wide Cloud and IT initiatives.  In response to the emergence of COVID-19 work-from-home requirements, I headed a rapid conversion to a fully remote work environment involving account creation and user training for over 250 customers.  To support this new work environment, I created a Cloud-based virtual help desk that reduced ticket resolution times and decreased in-person visits by 95%.  I also introduced a lifecycle management policy for all IT assets which reduced non-compliant equipment usage by 100% and eliminated hardware security vulnerabilities related to non-Trust Platform Module (TPM) computers.

IT Systems Engineer (26B)

I provided detailed risk profiles to senior leaders and key stakeholders about the use of military assets in both combat and training scenarios.  I planned, resourced, and supported the execution of over 400 combat patrols in Kandahar, Afghanistan.  Through coordination with intel, engineering, and logistics assets I was able to successfully build 8-week planning cycles of resources in support of ongoing operations.  I also led a 24/7 company operations center which monitored and tracked all operating elements to provide situational awareness and lines of communication for the commanding officer.  While in Fort Drum, I successfully trained and coached multiple teams through 9-month training pipelines to an eventual cumulative training exercise and certification hosted in Fort Polk, Louisiana.

I hosted 4 simulated customer presentations and whiteboard sessions about vSphere 7.  During these sessions, I worked with the customer to familiarize them with VMware product offerings and features and helped them tailor the solution in support of Multi-Cloud migration strategy.  Through the program, I gained exposure to Global and Enterprise accounts as well as familiarity with VMware products, services, and job roles in both pre-sales and post-sales functions.
